CTE Forum 2022 took place from 14 to 16 March at the Hayes Conference Centre, Swanwick.

More than 300 Christian leaders gathered to discuss and reflect on the Forum theme ‘Reconciling Hope: A broken church for a broken world’.

It was the broadest ecumenical gathering of the year and an exciting three days.

The conflict in Ukraine

Understandably, the war in Ukraine overshadowed this year’s Forum. During the event CTE released two statements on behalf of the attendees:

Calling for the cessation of hostilities

Renewing appeals to the UK government to support the churches offering welcome and sanctuary to Ukrainian refugees
