The Corrymeela Community and the Iona Community are partnering with nine other peace and reconciliation organisations to offer Christian leaders the opportunity to join a nine-month ecumenical pilgrimage.
From September 2023 to May 2024, participants will meet monthly in person and online to explore what it means to be reconciled to themselves, their communities, their faith, and to Earth. The Journey of Hope isn’t a programme, it is a deeply relational journey where the connections formed between participants will be just as important as the frameworks delved into.
Facilitated by the Reconcilers Together partnership, participants will be supported to embed their learning of conflict transformation within their contexts and will be invited to join a growing Community of Practice.
One participant from last year’s group said: “I don’t think I saw myself as a peacemaker before participating in Journey of Hope – now I do. Most importantly it has helped to diversify my understanding of what peacemaking is and connected me to a really loving and understanding network whom I can continuously learn from as my journey continues”.

Applications close on 30 June.
