A grant from The Bill Snelson Young Ecumenists Fund can take a young person anywhere in the world (except England) to experience Christian unity.
This experience can involve study, pilgrimage, volunteering or any activity that promotes church unity.
Successful applications to the fund since it opened in 2023 have supported:
- Joshua taking part in the Global Ecumenical Theological Institute in Egypt
- Melody marking the Jubilee of Prisoners in Rome
- Rebecca farming at an ecumenical rural institute in Japan
- Jack attending an international peace conference in Spain
- Sarah presenting at a European healthcare chaplaincy conference in Czechia
- and visits to key ecumenical places such as Taizé, the World Council of Churches and Chevetogne Abbey.
The possibilities are endless! Where could you go? Get some ideas about the opportunities available.
