From 10 to 14 October 2024, the Council of Lutheran Churches (CLC) is organising a trip to Wittenberg and the surrounding historic sites of the Reformation under the guidance of a local tour operator. Christians from across the traditions of CTE’s national Member Churches are invited to join the travelling party.
The trip starts and finishes in Berlin, and goes from there in Martin Luther’s and his supporters’ footsteps to Wittenberg, Eisenach, Erfurt, Eisleben and Leipzig.
The cost is 675 Euros per person in a double room. Single supplement 100 Euros.
The fee includes transfer from and back to Berlin and to the various locations during the trip, accommodation, four buffet breakfasts, four dinners (excl. drinks), all entrance fees to sites covered by the tour and the tour guide. Participants are expected to arrange and pay for their journey to and from Berlin. (currently from around £120).
