Different Types of LEP

If, having read that, you decide you do need an LEP, the historic types are:

Single Congregation LEPs

A single congregation Local Ecumenical Partnership is formed either when two or more congregations of different denominations decide to merge or when two or more Churches (denominations) decide to plant a new congregation together.

Covenanted Partnerships

A Congregations in Covenanted Partnership Local Ecumenical Partnership is made up of two or more congregations in a village, town or area.

Chaplaincy, Mission, and Education LEPs

A Chaplaincy is a specialised form of ministry where representatives of religious organisations work within an institution.
