Workplace pensions
Be aware of legislation around workplace pensions, or ‘auto-enrolment’, and the Government scheme which has been rolled out amongst employers and depends on the number of employees in an organisation. An organisation such as an Intermediate Body usually has a very low number of employees. The number of employees is gauged from PAYE records, which is why it is important for employees to be correctly registered with HMRC for payment purposes.
