The Moravian Church is seeking a Children’s and Youth Work Enabler to serve across our Northern Region, supporting congregations in West Yorkshire and Greater Manchester.
This is an enabling role, working alongside ministers, volunteers and local leaders to help develop ministry with children, young people and families. The successful candidate will encourage new initiatives, support and develop volunteers, strengthen links with schools and communities, and promote good safeguarding practice.
Applicants should have experience of children’s, youth, families, schools or community work in a church or related setting, excellent communication and facilitation skills, and the ability to work independently across a wide geographical area. Experience of supporting volunteers is essential.
The role involves regular travel across Yorkshire and Lancashire, with some evening and weekend working.
It is open to those who worship at any of CTE’s national Member Churches.
Full-time
Salary: £28,000-£32,000 per annum (depending on experience)
