KICK is a Christian charity that transforms young people’s lives, with God’s love, through sport and support. They deliver values-driven physical education, dance, mentoring, chaplaincy in schools and community KICK Academies.
They are looking to recruit a part-time sports coach at a primary school in Horsham.
Applicants will need:
- experience in sport
- to be passionate about delivering sessions of high quality.
- to engage well with children and young people with the ability to inspire and motivate.
- an understanding of assessment and development for both classes and individual children depending on the service delivered.
- to be able to use sport as a tool to embed life skills/values within each session.
Knowledge and qualifications:
- knowledge of how to plan an engaging and age-appropriate sports coaching session.
- knowledge of Safeguarding Children issues.
- awareness of Health and Safety issues.
- knowledge of behaviour management strategies.
Job Type: Part time (1 day a week)
Salary: £13.75 an hour
