Season of Creation 2023

Explore the ecumenical resources available to celebrate Creation Time in your church this Autumn.

The Season of Creation is an annual international ecumenical initiative. It starts on 1 September, the Day of Prayer for Creation, and ends on 4 October, the Feast of St. Francis of Assisi, the patron saint of ecology.

Season of Creation resources are supported by an ecumenical steering committee and a coalition of partners from around the world, including A Rocha International, ACT Alliance, Anglican Communion Environmental Network, Christian Aid, European Christian Environmental Network, Laudato Si’ Movement, and the World Council of Churches (WCC).
