The Archbishops’ Commission on Reimagining Care has launched its public engagement phase and is asking individuals and organisations to say where they think care and support is working well, but also where things need to change.
The Commission, set up by the The Archbishops of Canterbury and York, is inviting responses from across the faith sector about care and support for both adults with disabilities and those with needs in later life.
Its aim is to offer practical recommendations to national and local government, policymakers, the care sector, and society as a whole, about how to deliver this vision for care. Recommendations will be derived from the insights and ideas gathered from people and organisations about the challenges, good practice and experience of care and support. The Commission’s work will culminate in the publication of a final report in September 2022.
The deadline for contributions is 10 December 2021.
