This November, the UK will host the 26th United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP26) in Glasgow. In the lead up to COP26, the UK Government is looking to recruit 26 Ambassadors who represent the best in UK climate leadership.
The #OneStepGreener Ambassadors will work with the UK Government to inspire the public and demonstrate that we can all play a part in tackling climate change. The first 13 Ambassadors have been announced and include:
- Ade Adepitan, TV Presenter and Paralympic medallist
- Emer Rafferty, an 18-year-old environmentalist inspiring climate action in her local community in Northern Ireland
- Alice Powell, a simulator driver for a FormulaE team showcasing the power of electric vehicles
- Jasmine Allen, a young wind turbine apprentice focused on the future of energy generation

The nationwide search continues to find the remaining 13 ambassadors. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity for people to be recognised for the brilliant work they are doing for our environment.
