Lindsey Brown is enthusiastically and actively plugged into many national networks where ideas and encouragement are generously shared. The URC is a fundamentally ecumenical church, being the union of three very different ecclesiology’s, and so we hold difference both within and externally quite comfortably. We also hold our identity lightly, as our priorities are to worship, disciple and witness and the ‘how’ is far less of a priority: there is a great deal of all kinds of diversity in the Church.
