Churches Together in England continue to support reflection on mission-shaped topics with this year’s Mission Studies Day taking place on 11 May at the Evangelical Alliance Offices in London.
We are delighted to have Dr Alexander Chow from the University of Edinburgh who is a leading expert on Chinese diaspora Christian communities and Pastor Wonu Adefala from Global Connections as our keynote speakers on the day.
The morning session will also include a roundtable discussion about the challenges for the second and third generations with guests including Shermara Fletcher, Nia Cerise and Jianbu Chen. The day is hosted by Rev Dr Israel Olofinjana, Dr Heather Major and Dr Harvey Kwiyani.
The afternoon is an opportunity to hear from MA, PhD and early career researchers in short papers of up to 20 minutes around the theme of the day.
The day is a partnership between Churches Together in England, BIAPT (British and Irish Association of Practical Theology), Global Connections, Evangelical Alliance.
Tickets cost £30 which includes a warm lunch or £23 if you are an emerging scholar, MA or PhD student.
