MA Mission Prize 2025 launched

Submit your thesis on mission, evangelism or church planting before 30 April to win the prize and get published.

Churches Together in England (CTE) has launched this year’s MA Prize for the best thesis around the themes of mission, evangelism and church planting in the UK context.

The prize always attracts submissions on a wide variety of topics. MAs submitted in the 2024 competition included how pioneers experience spiritual retreats, transgressing the patriarchal borders in the Korean church and Ethiopian Church Forests and how they might inspire theology and mission.

The prize consists of a £100 cash gift. Entries may be considered for publication in the journal Ecclesial Futures published by Radboud University Press.

Past entrants who have been published in Ecclesial Futures include Peter Ruxton who wrote on contemporary new British monasticism and missional spirituality and John Neate who wrote an excellent article on cross-cultural friendships in mission.

There is also the opportunity for submitted theses to be made available in the Mission Research Library on the CTE website.

Students can submit their work directly to CTE, or Theological Educational Institutions can propose the work of some of their best MA candidates.

The deadline for submission is 30 April 2025.
