What if your church could help reshape the financial system for the better?
Imagine the impact of a growing movement of Christians uniting to pray, teach and take tangible action to ensure money is used for good. Good Money Sunday – coordinated by the JustMoney Movement – is an opportunity to think carefully about the ethics of our own financial choices – where we bank, spend, invest and give – and to advocate for a fairer, greener economy.
On this special Sunday – or at another point in the year – we invite you to use the resources collated by JustMoney Movement to help your church or Churches Together group dig a little deeper into themes of money, faith and justice, and take practical action.
Whether it’s a short reflection in your service, an article in a newsletter, or a simple conversation over coffee – join in with this Good Money Sunday. We’ve seen churches switch to greener bank accounts, build relationships with local credit unions, develop ethical purchasing policies and put on events for their wider community, all inspired by engagement with Good Money Sunday. What will you do?
