Get ready for Thy Kingdom Come 2026

Join the special Churches Together webinars on Tuesday 22 January to help you pray, plan and prepare for this ecumenical celebration of prayer in May 2026.

During the Week of Prayer for Christian Unity in January, Churches Together in England and Thy Kingdom Come will host two online joint workshops to help inspire and equip churches to consider how they might take part in Thy Kingdom Come 2026.

The sessions on Thursday 22 January are open to everyone and will explore different ways churches can pray and collaborate together, from across traditions and denominations. They will also provide space for participants to share their experience, reflect on best practice and gather new ideas.

We will also be encouraging people to #KeepPrayingTogether across the year and as well as during these special seasons of prayer.

The interactive workshops will focus on Thy Kingdom Come 2026 and will be facilitated by the CTE Principal Officer for Ecumenical Development and Relations, Doral Hayes, and Rev Canon Jean Kerr from Thy Kingdom Come.

Thy Kingdom Come takes place from Thursday 14 May to Sunday 24 May 2026.

Whether you are taking part in Thy Kingdom Come for the first time or have been involved for several years, come and be inspired as we prepare to pray together.

There will be two sessions each lasting an hour long. The same session will be repeated and will taking place on Thursday 22 January at both 11am and 7pm. Register now for one of the free webinars

New resources to support personal and shared prayer are currently being developed for 2026. The resources will include a prayer journal and new video resources with a range of #ecumenical contributors. Find more information and access to the resources for 2026 on the Thy Kingdom Come website.
