Claude Halm is an accredited Baptist minister, educator, and founder of the International Praise Centre in East London. He has a wealth of experience of over twenty years in ecumenical leadership, having served as local pastor, church planter, and exercised apostolic ministry in Greater London, Essex and Kent.
Claude’s ministry includes fostering multicultural and multi-generational church communities, establishing facilities for community support, and building partnerships across denominations.
With a strong academic foundation in theology and education, extensive teaching experience in Secondary and Further Education, and a commitment to international collaboration, Claude brings a strategic vision for unity and growth to his role as Ecumenical Lead for East London in Churches Together in Essex and East London.
Claude is married to Trudie and they have two young children, Samuel and Joy. In any spare time he has, Claude enjoys classical music, reading and playing golf.
Claude with be working closely with Clare Barford, who is the Ecumenical Lead for Essex.
