Chaplaincy Roadshow 2026

CEO of Sports Chaplaincy, Rev Warren Evans, shares an invitation to this series of events across the country from January to March.

Across the UK, something significant is stirring. The Chaplaincy Roadshow is more than a series of events. It is a call to the church to step up, step out, and bring the love of Christ right into the heart of our communities.

This is about making a difference. This is about God’s mission. Chaplaincy has always been mission on the frontline. It is the local church going to where people already are, offering hope and support simply by being there. It is pastoral and spiritual care given by permission, shaped by humility, compassion, and faith.

The Roadshow exists to ignite this vision afresh and to remind us that chaplaincy has always been about presence. Turning up. Standing alongside people where life is lived, worked, played, and sometimes painfully endured.

It also exists to remind us that this calling is not reserved for a few specialists. It is a shared opportunity for every Bible-believing, Spirit-filled believer who acknowledges Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour.

Chaplaincy Roadshow partners

What makes the Chaplaincy Roadshow so powerful is its breadth and diversity. A wide range of organisations, networks, and denominations are coming together with one shared passion: to see lives touched by the presence of Jesus through everyday, faithful service. From sports chaplaincy to workplace, community, health, and education settings, the Roadshow highlights the extraordinary opportunities God has placed before us.

There is a strong sense of life and Pentecostal momentum running through these gatherings. A deep conviction that the Holy Spirit still sends the church out, empowers ordinary people, and opens doors that no strategy alone could unlock. Attendees will hear stories of chaplaincy breaking down barriers, building trust, and creating space for faith conversations, all beyond the four walls of a church building.

The Roadshow is deeply practical, but it is also deeply spiritual. It challenges, encourages, and inspires pastors, leaders, and lay people to recognise chaplaincy as a missional pathway for every local church. You will leave with a clearer understanding of how chaplaincy works, how it can be shaped locally, and how churches can partner together for greater impact.

Perhaps most importantly, the Chaplaincy Roadshow carries a message of hope and unity. These events model what it looks like when we lay aside our egos and focus on our shared calling: to serve, to love, and to be present.

This is a moment for the Church to rise together. To say yes to mission. To step into our communities filled with faith, expectation, and empowered by the Holy Spirit. The Chaplaincy Roadshow is an invitation to be part of that story.
