This webinar, held on 2 November 2021, was an opportunity to hear from members of our Pentecostal Forum, leaders in the Pentecostal and Charismatic church and to share the great work that is happening across the nation.
CTE’s Principal Officer for Pentecostal, Charismatic and Multi-cultural relations, Shermara Fletcher, opened the webinar setting out the ‘landscape’ of England’s Pentecostal and Charismatic churches using a framework developed by CTE President Rev Dr Hugh Osgood.
In Part 1 of the webinar the following Christian leaders introduced their churches:
- Rev Chris Cartwright – General Superintendent of the Elim Pentecostal Church
- Bishop Tedroy Powell – CTE’s Pentecostal & Charismatic President and National Presiding Bishop of the Church of God of Prophecy UK
- Richard Bradbury – National Representative of the Ground Level Church Network
- Rev Dr Marcus Chilaka – Redeemed Christian Church of God UK Provincial Pastor and Assistant Professor of Public Health
- Pastor Mike White International Speaker, Founder and Senior Leader of The Tab church
John Cooper the Chair of CTE’s Bodies in Association and Director of The Fellowship of Reconciliation co-hosted the webinar.
In Part 2 of the webinar
- Clare Williams, Youth facilitator and Founder of Get Real Podcast, spoke about the opportunities that Pentecostalism and the Charismatic churches have to recruit milennials and Gen Z worshippers.
- Dionne Gravesande CTE Forum Moderator, Senior Leader within Christian Aid, and New Testament Church of God hosted a Q & A and closed in prayer.
