We are delighted that all our Presidents will be at the 2015 Forum, though two of them, Archbishop Gregorios and Archbishop Justin Welby, will be there via a video:
- Archbishop Gregorios writes: ‘It is with deep regret that I have to withdraw from the CTE Forum. For pastoral reasons I have to be in the Holy Land at that time, being involved in a meeting with His Beatitude the Patriarch of Jerusalem and assisting him at the liturgical celebration of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross.’
- Archbishop Justin is unable to be with us because he is at the consecration of three new bishops.
The Presidents’ Panel, at 4.30 pm on Tuesday, will consist of a question-and-answer session, with Presidents answering four pre-arranged questions:
- What Biblical passage speaks to you most deeply about the unity we share in Christ?
- What inspiration do you find in other Christian traditions?
- Where do you experience our unity in Jesus to-day? Are there any highlights that you can share?
- Is unity important for the mission of the church to-day?
Bishop Dr Eric Brown, Mr Billy Kennedy, Cardinal Vincent Nichols and Revd Dr Hugh Osgood will also answer four questions from Forum delegates.
We are very grateful to those Forum delegates who have submitted questions. These have now gone to the Presidents, asking them to choose one each, ie only four of the submitted questions will be chosen.
