KICK is a Christian charity that transforms young people’s lives, with God’s love, through sport and support. They deliver values-driven physical education, dance, mentoring, chaplaincy in schools and community KICK Academies.
They are looking to recruit a five days a week behavioural support mentor at a secondary school in Stoke-upon-Trent. This role may also involve some sports coaching in small groups.
Applicants will need:
- to be passionate about delivering sessions of high quality.
- to engage well with children and young people with the ability to inspire and motivate.
- have an understanding of assessment and development individual children.
- be solutions focused and passionate about developing young people.
- use sport as a tool to embed life skills/values within each session.
Knowledge and qualifications:
- knowledge of Safeguarding Children issues.
- knowledge of how to plan an engaging and age-appropriate sessions.
- awareness of Health and Safety issues.
- knowledge of behaviour management strategies.
Salary: £23k-27k (FTE) depending on experience
