*** DEADLINE EXTENDED TO 10 APRIL ***
The Council of Lutheran Churches (CLC) is taking a group of students and young professionals (under 35) for a Taizé retreat in France from 19 to 26 July 2026.
This will be an opportunity to experience life, prayer and worship as part of this well-known ecumenical community.
Applications are welcomed from young Christians in any of CTE’s national Member Churches. The group will be accompanied by three pastors (Lutheran and Anglican).
The cost is £400 including travel, accommodation and meals while at Taize.
Full and partial bursaries are available for deserving candidates, ensuring that financial constraints do not prevent participation.
Please check your passport is valid and apply for a Schengen visa if needed.
If you have questions about the retreat, please email the CLC Head of chaplaincy and Development Rev Rebecca Daniel.
Register your interest in the retreat by 10 April.
Grants from Churches Together in England’s Bill Snelson Young Ecumenists Fund have supported visits to Taizé in the past. Read about the ecumenical experiences of Jemima, Edward and Ellmina.
