Churches Together in England agencies Christian Aid, CAFOD and our Charity and Network in Association the Good Faith Partnership have joined together with other organisations to launch A Million Acts of Hope.
This campaign will build to a week of action from 13 to 20 May, 2026.
During the week of action, communities, faith groups, and charities will make visible the everyday acts of hope, service, and solidarity that too often go unnoticed.
From food banks and litter picks to youth work and neighbourhood safety, millions of people are already showing up for one another. The aim is to connect those efforts into a single national story – one that amplifies compassion over division. The week of action is timed to coincide with the next planned ‘Unite the Kingdom-type’ march.
