• The Forum takes place from 2.30 pm on Monday 14 March to after lunch on Wednesday 16 March 2022. Please do not plan to leave before 1.00 pm.
  • Hayes is in Derbyshire (Swanwick, Alfreton, Derbyshire, DE55 1AU – for Sat Nav use DE55 1AT). Please ensure you don’t go to the wrong Swanwick (at least one person always does…)
  • Travel information can be downloaded below. We will be meeting delegates on Monday at Alfreton between 2.00 pm and 3.30 pm to facilitate lifts or taxi-sharing. Look for the CTE banner.
  • Other practical information about Forum and about The Hayes is on the programme (downloadable below), after the first page.
  • The document ‘Who’s there and when?’ will be downloadable below on or after 1 March 2022 and will be sent to all delegates.
  • The programme and various lists will also be posted on noticeboards at the back of the Derbyshire Hall and in the raised lobby between the two dining rooms. We ask you to wear masks when you congregate near them. Even better, consult our virtual noticeboard for these lists.
  • Registration will take place at Lakeside Reception. There is plenty of parking near the accommodation blocks.
  • In due course you will be offered a choice of workshops and asked to book, via Eventbrite, the two you wish to attend. Please be aware that the earlier you book, the more choice you will have. Workshop lists will be e-mailed to you and will be available below and on the virtual noticeboard. Rooms have a limited capacity and only those who have booked will be able to join workshops with the exception of those in the Derbyshire Hall and the Main Conference Hall. Bringing with you the workshop pdf confirmation will be very helpful but there will be people with lists on the doors of each smaller room who will admit only those who have booked. This is necessary because of fire regulations and to ensure that there are enough chairs in the rooms.
  • On the final morning, Wednesday, there will be a choice of morning prayer before breakfast, reflecting a range of traditions. Similarly, in due course we will ask you to book your preferred worship option in advance via Eventbrite to allow us to allocate suitable rooms. There is no limit on numbers for the worship options in the Derbyshire Hall, the Main Conference Hall or the Chapel but otherwise you won’t be admitted unless you have booked. Again, showing your pdf confirmation at the door will be very helpful.
  • You will be allocated a small home group. The list will be e-mailed to you the week before Forum at the latest and will be available below and on the virtual noticeboard. Information about group sessions is in the programme.
  • This is a paperless Forum. So before you come, ensure that you have whatever you need electronically or print out whatever papers you require from those below, particularly the programme which contains most of what you need to know, and do ensure that you know your workshop and worship choices. Key information, including the programme, will be posted on noticeboards as indicated above and on our virtual noticeboard. Our website is optimised for mobiles and tablets and all Forum information is in one set of pages.
  • Please ensure that you are aware of our photograph and video policy.
  • Any other information will be posted on this page as it becomes available. If you have a query, please contact Jenny Bond, the CTE staff member primarily responsible for the Forum, or Lorraine Shannon, CTE’s Operations Manager, who is in charge of all the practicalities.
