Why do Member Churches pay subscriptions to CTE?
Member Churches are asked to pay an annual subscription to Churches Together in England. There is no set rate for this since CTE is a community of Churches – more like a family than a formal organisation. We therefore trust our members to pay what they can afford in the light of what is needed. Our accounts are in the public domain.
CTE has no source of income apart from subscriptions from its member Churches and from Intermediate Bodies – so your money really is important to us, and without it we could not serve you as we do. By funding CTE, member Churches are responding in a very practical way to Jesus' prayer that 'all may be one', creating an ecumenical space to form and foster relationships, supporting local working together for mission and unity, and sustaining theological and biblical reflection.
Do we have the correct information for your Church?
Member Churches are asked to ensure that Lorraine Shannon has the current name and contact details of their Treasurer or Finance Office to ensure that the annual subscriptions reminder goes to the correct person.
