Denominational Ecumenical Officers (DEOs) are appointed by their own Churches to offer advice and resources for local ecumenism within a particular County Body or Church (ie, Diocese, District, Synod, Baptist Association).

DEOs work as a team together with the County Officer. They also relate to their own National Ecumenical Officer (NEO).

The Churches at national level have approved job descriptions for DEOs – see below. There is also a downloadable document containing all of them.

To contact a particular Denominational Ecumenical Officer try looking at the Diocesan/ District/ Synod/ Baptist Association website.  Alternatively contact the relevant National Ecumenical Officer or County Ecumenical Officer for details.
